It’s hard to believe it’s October already and the RVIA show is right around the corner. It will be held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY again this year and the dates are November 30 – December 2, Tuesday 9 am to 5:30 pm, Wednesday 9 am to 5:30 pm and Thursday 9 am to 3:30 pm. This show is industry-only, not open to the public.
Tuesday Morning the show kicks off at 7 am with a complimentary full breakfast in the South Wing Mezzanine Level Ballroom. RVIA Chairman Gregg Fore will host the event and will include:
- Forging Our Future with Richard Coon – important trends impacting the RV market and how RVIA is working to forge a bright future for the industry.
- Inspiration for a New Era with Go RVing co-chairs Bob Olson and Tom Stinnett – introduction of the new Go RVing Leads Plus program, report on the impact of the Ambassadors of Affordability campaign and unveil new plans for 2011.
- A New Era of Possibilities with RVIA Public Relations Committee Chair B.J. Thompson and Gary LaBella – tools and stategies to maximize the exposure of RVing in a changing media landscape and resulting high-impact publicity that’s helping stoke demand for RVs.

I currently advertise with a competitor, and was wondering what the “sweet deal” might be? Does it include online advertising? I have visited the Louisville show a few times in the past. My dealership is involved with Forest River (a major Exhibitor), Canterbury RV (DNA Enterprises), and just recently Crossroads Rv (a division of THOR). -Kelly Hicks

Yes, our sweet deal does include advertising plus our Online Inventory Manager. I was looking through your website and your inventory pages would be much easier to manage and be more effective in the search engines if you were to use our Virtual Inventory pages. For that matter, our monthly fee includes website hosting and up to 25 email accounts with Postini virus and spam protection. Can I email you the Dealer Partner plan details to review along with our Guest Login? I’m on vacation all next week but I can email you the info as soon as I get back to the office. Let me know.

This sounds as though it would be a great event that someone shouldn’t miss. What do you mean when you say industry-only? And how would one go about getting into the event?
