The deadline to transition to GA4, Google’s newest analytics platform, is fast-approaching! Google is sunsetting Universal Analytics on July 1st of 2023. If you haven’t already set up your GA4 account – Google Analytics 4 – we highly encourage you to do soon. The good news is that if NetSource Media handles recurring digital marketing for you, like Google Ads, SEO or social media marketing, we have already done this for you!

If you have not already completed the transition to GA4, take advantage of the step-by-step guide on this blog from our NetSource Technologies branch.  Universal Analytics will still be around for referencing historical data, as far as we know right now, but it will not be collecting data after July 1st of next year. We encourage you to set this up now and get used to the way that GA4 report. It is very different from what you’re used to in Universal Analytics.

We get it – you’re a busy business owner with a lot on your plate! Working through the transition to GA4 is not on the top of your personal to-do list. But you don’t want to put it off so long that you miss the transition. You need analytics to be able to track what your customers are interested in and know where you need to make improvements on your website! Don’t wait until it’s too late. Leave the transition to the us.
